Applications are now open for 2017

Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Ngā Kaitatau Māori o Aotearoa (National Māori Accountants Network - NKMoA) are pleased to announce that applications for the two annual scholarships are now open.


There are two annual scholarships designed to help encourage students of Māori heritage enter the accounting profession. Both scholarships are open to second or subsequent year accounting students.

The successful applicant of the Chartered Accountants ANZ Nga Raumanako Māori Scholarship receives $5,000 over a 2 year period, and will also be offered a summer internship with one of the network partners.

The recipient of the Chartered Accountants ANZ Ngā Kaitatau Māori o Aotearoa Suzanne Spencer Memorial Scholarship will demonstrate a focus on contributing toward their community and leadership, and will receive $6,000 over a 2 year period.


Applications for both scholarships close at 5pm Friday 26 May 2017.

The winners of each scholarship will be attending the NKMoA Hui on 14-15 July in Rotorua and will be awarded their scholarship at the conference dinner.
