The 2022 One Young World Summit is taking place in Manchester, United Kingdom, from 5-8 September.
Each year One Young World Summit convenes the brightest young talent from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact. The most talented young leaders from 190+ countries are counselled by influential political, business, and humanitarian leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman and Meghan Markle, amongst many other global figures.
In continuation of our efforts and commitment to support the next generation of difference makers, we are proud to be sending two aspiring Chartered Accountants to participate in the 2022 Summit and represent both Chartered Accountants Worldwide and Chartered Accountants ANZ. We will be sending one student affiliate and one CA ANZ student representative.
Delegates have the opportunity to meet other young talent from across the world and be able to hear and interact with world leaders on social issues such as education, climate change, media freedom and poverty alleviation. The experience (flights, accommodation, and tickets to the 2022 Summit in Manchester, UK) is all covered by Chartered Accountants ANZ (CA ANZ).
We will also be offering two runner up prize packages that will include two mentoring sessions, one with a current CA ANZ Member and one with a graduate recruitment specialist and CA ANZ President Kate Boorer FCA, as well as an invitation to a CA ANZ Member Development event and a $1,000 contribution to assist with course-related costs.
To be eligible to enter you need to be a:

- a student representative employed by Chartered Accountants ANZ
We are looking for two delegates, from Australia or New Zealand who can adhere to the following requirements:
- Available to fly to Manchester for this time period and attend the summit.
- Whilst attending the Summit, the delegates will be expected to capture their experience via social media, using content on both their own and CA ANZ You Unlimited website, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook channels to create video, photo and written content about their time, key learnings etc.
- The delegates will be representing CA ANZ, therefore will be expected to maintain a professional standard, whilst making the most out of this amazing opportunity.

After each Summit, having made long lasting connections the delegates, known as One Young World Ambassadors, return to their organisations and communities to work on their own initiatives or lend the power of the One Young World network to existing initiatives. Of those in employment, many return to their companies and set about creating change from within, energising their corporate environment.
"I am eager to be representing Chartered Accountants ANZ at the One Young World Summit in London. I hope to learn from other young leaders making a positive impact in the global community, and to learn not just for myself, but for generations yet to come."
What is One Young World and how did it start?
Founded in 2009, One Young World is a UK-based charity that has built a network of over 9,000 ambassadors, and positively impacted over 17.5 million people worldwide.
The organisation "identifies, promotes and connects the world's most impactful young leaders to create a better world, with more responsible, more effective leadership".
The One Young World Summit sees the global forum for young leaders return ‘home’ to London for the first time since the inaugural Summit in 2010.
Celebrating the 10th year anniversary, the 2019 summit will be the largest ever staged with co-founders David Jones and Kate Robertson championing the power of young people in innovative thinking and developing new ideas.
