What are you studying?

Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance.

How do you want to make a difference in the world?

I believe strongly in treating others how you want to be treated and creating a better tomorrow for everyone. I want to reduce poverty in New Zealand through education as I am strongly passionate about this issue.

How would your friends, family or a colleague describe you?

Enthusiastic, knowledge-hungry learner, who is passionate about working in accounting and finance and providing the best possible service and experience for clients. Skills in promoting and representing a brand, professionalism and presenting, being respectful, showing kindness and always being willing to help others. 

What you are interested in outside of Uni and work?

Well-rounded and balanced individual with high academic achievement successfully balancing part-time employment, regular volunteering, multiple sports, running a start-up, close family relationships and social time with friends. I enjoy dance and theatre, both watching and performing. I have participated in both the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare festival and stage challenge. I also participate in multiple different sports including rock climbing, canoe polo, touch rugby and equestrian (which I did for over 8 years).

What was your fondest memory from university so far?

Getting awarded an Lincoln University Global Challenges Scholarship for 2016. Then being one of only 12 to be re-offered the scholarship in 2017 in recognition of extensive contribution in 2016.

What would you tell someone who is thinking about studying business/accounting?

If you love helping others succeed and working with people and figures it might be the right choice for you too.
