Careers in the accounting and finance industry can be diverse, hence choosing the one that is right for you and aligns with your skills and interest can be a bit tricky. It’s a common question in a job interview to be asked which area you want to specialise in, and it can be overwhelming for students to choose a service line when you don't know all the options, how they work or what they do.

The Find your fit event helps tertiary students learn about the various specialisations in accounting and finance, such as: forensic, sustainability, tax, and financial accounting. It will give you insights into what your future career could look like in different specialisations and what skills you might need to thrive in your career.

You will also have the chance to connect with and hear from business professionals in the industry and employers in your area.

• Tertiary students –1st year onwards;

Event format

Our Find your fit event brings together a group of industry experts and employers in your local area who’ll talk about the varied career opportunities in the accounting industry.

At the event, you’ll get a chance to attend a breakout session that will give you the chance to have a one-on-one discussion with professionals. followed by networking opportunities that can help you build connections for your future career.

There will also be a Q&A session at the end where you can ask your questions directly to the presenters.

Food and refreshments will be provided at each event.
