Pacific Scholarship - New Zealand

This scholarship is for tertiary students of Pacific heritage who are studying and residing in New Zealand.

With a vision of increasing the number of accountants of Pacific heritage, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) is proud to provide a scholarship for tertiary students of Pacific heritage studying in New Zealand towards an undergraduate degree in accounting.

Scholarship purpose

To assist students of Pacific heritage to progress their studies in accounting by providing financial support towards their tuition fees and course related costs.

Selection criteria

This scholarship is aimed at Pacific students who are currently studying towards an undergraduate accounting degree in New Zealand. Applicants should be in their penultimate year of study (e.g. in the second year of a three-year degree program or the third year of a four-year degree program etc.).


The successful recipient of the Pacific Scholarship (NZ) will receive $5,000. The successful recipient may also have the opportunity to undertake a summer internship* with an accounting firm or other organisation.

*Any internship is subject to meeting the eligibility requirements of the relevant program. Internships are awarded on a reasonable endeavours basis, CA ANZ does not guarantee that an internship opportunity will be provided.
