Pacific Scholarships – New Zealand and the Pacific Islands

Two scholarships for tertiary students of Pacific heritage studying towards an undergraduate degree in accounting, living in either New Zealand or the Pacific Islands.

With a vision of increasing the number of accountants of Pacific heritage, Chartered Accountants ANZ is proud to offer two scholarships to tertiary students. These scholarships of NZ $5,000 each will assist students to progress their studies in accounting by providing financial support towards their tuition fees and course related costs.

Scholarship details

  • Accounting scholarship for Pacific students living in New Zealand Aotearoa

    Selection Criteria

    This scholarship is aimed at Pacific tertiary students who are studying towards an accounting degree. Applicants will need to be of Pacific heritage, living in New Zealand Aotearoa.

    Applicants should be in their penultimate year of study (second to last year of study).

    Eligible applicants may be of any age and should demonstrate their commitment to the accounting profession.

    Value

    The successful winner of the Pacific Scholarship – New Zealand will receive NZ $5,000 to assist with study related expenses. They may also have an opportunity to gain a summer internship* with an accounting firm or another organisation.

    *Please note that a separate process, terms and conditions will apply for the internship.

  • Accounting scholarship for Pacific students residing across the Pacific islands

    Selection Criteria

    This scholarship is aimed at Pacific tertiary students who are studying towards an accounting degree. Applicants will need to be of Pacific heritage, living in one of the eligible Pacific Islands*.

    Applicants should be in their penultimate year of study (second to last year of study).

    Eligible applicants may be of any age and should demonstrate their commitment to the accounting profession.

    The successful winner of the Pacific Scholarship – Pacific Islands will receive NZ $5,000 to assist with study related expenses.
