Women in Finance and Economics Scholarship
Through partnering with the Financial Planning Association of Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) is offering a scholarship to support disadvantaged Australian women to complete the CA Program and become a Chartered Accountant.
Scholarship details
1. Scholarship Purpose and Value
The scholarship will provide recipients with financial assistance for the educational requirements needed to qualify for the CA designation and membership of Chartered Accountants ANZ.
The recipient will be exempt from all CA Program subject fees, from CA Study Masterclass workshop fees and from annual Provisional Membership fees up to a maximum value of $10,000.
2. Selection Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must be a female provisional member currently undertaking or about to commence the CA Program to attain the Chartered Accountant designation. In addition, consideration will be given to those who can demonstrate emerging leadership, are a team player and someone who contributes to the accounting profession.
The scholarship recipients must:
- be a female provisional or full CA ANZ member. More information on provisional memberships can be found here.
- be an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident
- be able to demonstrate the sources of disadvantage
