Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) offers multiple scholarships to students committed to the CA Program. For example, the NKMoA Scholarship caters to students of Māori heritage who are in their second or subsequent year at university, and the Craig Norgate Scholarship provides support for Taranaki and New Zealand students who have applied or are about to apply for the CA Program. CA ANZ similarly endeavours to progress the profession through supporting student competitions and initiatives recognising the future leaders in business and accounting.
Ted Delahunty Leadership Award
Through partnering with the Ted Delahunty Trust, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) is offering a NZ$10,000 Award to a CA provisional member residing and working in regional New Zealand. Applications are now open.
Gisborne Region Financial Assistance Fund
Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, with the support of Eastland Group, Coates Associates Ltd and Graham & Dobson Ltd have created the Gisborne Region Financial Assistance Fund to provide financial assistance to students interested in a career in accounting. This scholarship opportunity is for Year 13 and tertiary students who want to pursue a career in accounting.
Craig Norgate Scholarships
Craig Norgate was often described as visionary, passionate and influential. Two annual scholarships are offered by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand to honour Craig’s legacy. The scholarships provide two aspiring accountants with $5000 in financial support to complete the CA Program.
Pacific Scholarships - New Zealand and the Pacific Islands
Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand aims to support emerging leaders with their dreams to pursue a career as a CA. One of our initiatives is to offer 2 scholarships of NZ $5,000 each for tertiary students of Pacific heritage residing in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands to support their accounting education journey.
The Ngā Raumanako and Suzanne Spencer Memorial Māori Scholarships
